I’m having fun vibecoding but there are some serious tough things that just couldn’t help me get going.
- One is that it requires a series of minor improvements to get what I needed and this consumes my credits tenfold. One prompt just doesn’t gonna do it – you have to tweak it a little further until you get the exact design or functionality that you needed.
- Second is the complexity of tweaking 3rd-party apps. Yes, it supports one-click connection but then when you want to change something like adding a column to the database or connect tables in the database, it consumes credits and it gets me frustrated using up all of my monthly credits in 3 days LOL.
Directory websites
Right now, I’m having fun creating directory websites. One project that I’ve started is SolarPros PH, a directory of solar companies in the Philippines.
It is fun. But of course there are some things that complicate the project like…
- scraping accurate datasets for each company in the database (e.g. products and services offered)
- formatting nightmare. As an example, to upload the business hours it has to in this format [“Mo 08:30-17:00″,”Tu 08:30-17:00″,”We 08:30-17:00″,”Th 08:30-17:00″,”Fr 08:30-17:00″,”Sa 08:30-17:00”],[“UTC”:”+8″,”Timezone”:”Asia/Manila”] when you could simply write Mon-Sat 8:30AM – 5:00PM.
- bulk uploads don’t go normally as expected. Like when you want to upload images of companies in bulk, you have to set the image parameters correctly like the title, alt text, description, etc.
Despite of this, I’m having fun what I’m doing and this is way better than getting stuck in the 9-5 day job, working for 6 hours and pretending to be busy for another two 🙂
Client websites
Small wins do matter and this time it’s for my client websites. In fact, I posted about it on Facebook.
The 3 websites I made are now showing rich results on Google SERPs – yes, those page links that you see below the main website link.
It took some time to get there and it’s all worth it.
SEO is a long-term game and you seriously don’t want to be bragging about it since the results are not going to be consistent.
The SEO efforts you make could yield results in 3 months, 6 months, 2 years – you’re not certain when you get it but you know that you’re gonna get there.

I had a great time with my family and friends.
We went to a 1,000km+ land tour to Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur and Baguio City.
It was surreal.
We ate the famous delicacies there, swam into an icy-cold waters underneath the waterfall, went through a 4×4 offroad ride, and spent the last few days in the cold weather.
It was fun and it really broke our monotonous routine.

I’m having fun building projects using AI.
So right now, I’m currently developing a platform where artists and collectors can connect.
This platform will allow my fellow Filipino artists to sell their art online.
I’m pretty stoked and hooked with this project and I’ve just completed the MVP.
Right now I’m refining the features of the platform to look polished and presentable.
Next steps would be to acquire beta users to test the platform and to register the business.
